SDG Expedites Construction Work on Ojota PHC Perimeter Fencing, Outdoor flooring; Allegation Against Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye Proven Wrong

The Office of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is about to complete construction work on the perimeter fencing and outdoor flooring of the 90-bed Primary Health Care Centre at Emmanuel Nursery and Primary School, Ojota, facilitated by the immediate past Member House of Representatives, Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye (mni).
The SDGs office began construction work on the perimeter fencing and outdoor flooring of the Primary Health Care Centre in December 2023. At the time of filing this report, the project has now reached its final stage of completion.

The outdoor flooring of the hospital down to the driveway which is about 150 metres from the entrance gate has been completed. Also, the perimeter fence to the point of the driveway has been completed while work is still ongoing on the construction of the driveway fence.
Aside from this, the Office of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has also constructed and installed a Solar Powered Borehole Water system and a security post within the hospital premises.
Once work on the perimeter fencing is completed, the office of the SDGs is expected to shift its attention to furnishing and equipping the health center with state-of-the-art medical equipment, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

The progress of work on the 90-bed Health Care Centre commissioned by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in April 29, 2023 has now put paid to the wanton and unfounded allegation of misappropriation and embezzlement of funds, purportedly allocated for furnishing and installation of medical equipment in the health center, against Hon. Agunsoye by a self-acclaimed social critic, Seun Salami.

Salami had on several occasions on social media platforms leveled unproven, baseless allegation against the former lawmaker of having embezzled and misappropriated funds meant for the completion of the project in connivance with the contractor handling the project.

However, in the face of the unwarranted malicious allegation from the self-acclaimed social critic, Hon. Agunsoye and his supporters were unperturbed and did not utter a word in response. The truth about the matter has now been revealed, proving the allegation against him to be false.
And the false allegation against him have had no unfortunate impact on the project as his dedication and commitment to the completion of the health center have remained unwavering throughout.

Agunsoye's involvement in facilitating this project highlights his dedication to the welfare of the Kosofe Federal Constituency and his determination to provide access to quality healthcare services.
The completion of the perimeter fencing and flooring marks a pivotal moment in the progression of the health center. As the project nears its conclusion, the Office of Sustainable Development Goals is actively engaged in ensuring that the health center is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Once operational, the Primary Health Care Centre at Emmanuel Nursery and Primary School in Ojota will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the local community.
