Moyo Ogunlewe Felicitates Christians in Kosofe, Urges Residents to Embrace Easter Spirit of Love

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area, Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, has felicitated Christians in the council area on the occasion of Easter, describing it as a season of renewed faith and hope.

In his Easter message on Sunday, Ogunlewe said the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolises “the ultimate triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness,” noting that the message remains relevant to all humanity.

He urged residents to extend the spirit of Easter beyond religious gatherings into their daily lives through acts of kindness, reconciliation and genuine love for one another.

“As we celebrate this season of renewed faith and boundless joy, I encourage every resident of Kosofe to carry the spirit of Easter beyond the church walls - into our homes, our streets, and our communities,” the chairman said.

Ogunlewe reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a Kosofe “where every resident truly thrives,” and wished families a peaceful and blessed celebration.

“Christ is Risen!” he added.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
