BREAKING: LAGOS APC DISSOCIATES ITSELF FROM THE INAUGURATION OF PARALLEL ORGANS IN KOSOFE

The State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has dissociated itself from the parallel organs of the party inaugurated on Thursday in Kosofe Local Government Area by the members of Governor's Advisory Council (GAC). The party disclosed on Friday that it did not grant any group or individual the power to inaugurate another organ of the party either at the ward or LGA levels. It said the only ward chairmen that were sworn in at the state party secretariat, Acme, last year September are the authentic ward chairmen. On Thursday, parallel organs of the party were inaugurated at the private office of a former house of Representatives member by GAC members based in Kosofe Local Government. Some names of ward executives duly sworn in last year September based on 20 Local Government arrangements were yanked off the list of 57 LGA arrangements of the party. The inauguration of a parallel LGA APC Executives and Ward Chairmen under the guise of an LGA meeting had been scheduled to hold at the Constituency office of the former member of the House of Representatives Hon. Dayo Alebiosu at Anthony Village. But no sooner had the parallel LGA meeting started than some concerned members of APC in the local government stormed the venue of the meeting and chased everybody away. OJORA ROYAL FAMILY PAYS ROYAL VISIT TO OLOWORO OF OWORO

At the behest of the paramount traditional ruler of Ijora Kingdom, Oba Fatai Aremu Aromire, the Ojora Royal family on Tuesday paid a royal visit to the Oloworo of Oworoshoki Kingdom Oba Babatunde Saliu (ELEBO II) at his palace.  The palace of the paramount traditional ruler of Oworonshoki Kingdom was agog with hundred of Ojora Royal family comprising of White Cap Chiefs, Women and the Ejiwa Elegba. Traditional rulers made the call on Friday when they paid a royal visit to the palace of Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom Oba Babatunde Saliu (Elebo II). Olofin Adimula Oba Bamgbade was accompanied to the palace of Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom by Olu of Agboyi, Oba Monsur Abimbola Ladega; Olojodu of Ojodu, Oba Sobowale Benson and Alaketu of Ketu, Oba Isiaka Oyero. The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Tuesday bestowed with another award by SOHCAHTOA FOUNDATION in recognition of his contributions and impact in Education and infrastructural development in the community. The prestigious award was presented to the council Chairman by the Chief Executive Officer of the Victoria Island base foundation, Mr. Oluwaseyi Fayemi, who pledged to support the council's education project with extra150 free GCE forms for students in Kosofe Local government.. The Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu Royal Family of Oworonshoki Kingdom led by HRM Oba Babatunde Saliu, on Tuesday, celebrated the posthumous birthday of the late paramount ruler of the Kingdom Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu (ELEBO I). The late monarch who joined his ancestors on August 31, 2021 would have been 76 years old on August 2nd had he been alive.
