Winning FCT Not Requirement To Emerge President – Femi Falana

Legal luminary, Femi Falana says a presidential candidate does not need to win the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to be declared winner of the February 25, 2023 poll. “It is not a requirement that you must win the FCT,” the Senior Advocate of Nigeria said on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme on Tuesday. “Today, the courts have ruled that pursuant to Section 299 of the constitution, that the FCT should be treated as a state. That is the law. “You don’t have to win the FCT; if you meet the requirement; that is two-thirds of the majority of states in the country. You don’t have to win the FCT,” the rights activist stressed. *Road To Serve as Alternative Route to Agric Ikorodu and Lagos-Ibadan/ Sagamu Road Construction work has commenced on the alternative route that will connect Isheri North to Agric/Isawo in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state as well as Lagos- Ibadan/Shagamu road. The construction of the road is facilitated by the Lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye and is in four phases with the first phase commencing with the construction of 3.5km Isheri North road. The road otherwise known as Channels Television road begins from OPIC gate, cuts through the border communities of Lagos and Ogun state and then terminates at Isheri North GRA Lagos. The contractor handling the project M/S Acute Options LTD has already arrived at the project site and has started scrapping the road surface in preparation for the laying of asphalt. MOYO OGUNLEWE, ACCESS BANK COMMISSION HEALTH FACILITY AT OWORONSHOKI

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe on Wednesday commissioned a state-of-the-Art Primary Health Care Centre at Oworonshoki. The commissioning of the Primary Health Centre came a day after a customary court and water fountain was commissioned by the council Chairman.
