OLUSEGUN APENA December 25th has always been a very special day for millions of people all over the world being the day Lord Jesus Christ was born. However, for Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye, the Lawmaker representing the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency, the day, apart from being a special one, is very unique in the sense that it is the day his beloved mother - the matriarch of Agunsoye Royal Family of Ijebu-Ijesha, Princess Beatrice Tinuola Agunsoye - was born. It is, therefore, no wonder that the Lawmaker attaches so much importance to celebrating the day with hundreds of his political loyalists, friends, colleagues and family members. Thus as the distinguished Lawmaker joins the rest of the world to celebrate the birth of Lord Jesus Christ on December 25th, he is at the same time celebrating the birthday of his beloved mother who happens to be his pillar of support and bedrock of success over the years. And this year's own is not different.

Mile 12 demolition: A Political miscalculation of the highest order

Image
Mile 12 demolition: A Political miscalculation of the highest order By: Yunus Adogba To avoid wrong judgement, I proceeded to the Alaba section of Mile 12 market today 16th of December, 2022 for self-confirmation of the alleged demolition, and to assess the negative impact such action might have on the affected traders if it happens to be true.  I was shocked to the marrow when it became a reality that the Chairman of Ikosi Iseri, Princess Bada actually ordered the demolition, and ensure it was fully carried out. Right at the scene of the demolition, I became more confused when it was revealed that the area in question is a Yoruba-dominated section of the market. I kept asking myself how a politician of high repute could go for an action that can de-market her party by inflicting agony of such magnitude on multiple electorates towards election. This thought made me speechless for about five minutes after speaking to the people concerned. I fully sympathized with them and

MAYORESS CANNOT BE MORE CATHOLIC THAN THE POPE: STOP THIS CAMPAIGN OF CALUMNY AGAINST ROT

Image
Hypocrisy, they say, is the audacity to preach integrity from the den of corruption. It is also the ability to profess loyalty to a political cause while flirting with the camp of an arch-enemy.  The above statements are self-evidently true of the hypocritical character and behaviour of the chairperson of Ikosi/Isheri LCDA Princess Samiat Bada. She, in recent times has been nightmarishly obsessed with the political activities of the distinguished lawmaker representing the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. (Prince) Rotimi. Agunsoye. Her traumatic obsession with the excellent performance of Hon. Agunsoye had led to her recent flatulent outburst of inanities and nonsensical drivel. In sheer audacious hypocrisy, the former "Paraga retailer" despicably accused óur distinguished lawmaker of engaging in anti-party activities for allowing a former councillor in Ikosi/Isheri LCDA, Hon. Moruf Adeshina to contest under the banner of SDP.  This alle
