By: Olusegun Apena The Caretaker Committee of All Progressives Congress Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Ward B has announced the suspension of its Ward Caretaker Committee chairman Mrs. Abiodun Odusami and its LGA Publicity Secretary Mr. Abiodun Awoderu indefinitely. In a statement received by Kosofe Reporters early this morning the party said it took the decision in order to salvage the soul of the party at its emergency meeting which had in attendance the Ward Councillor Hon. Muhammed Moroof Adeleye and the LGA Executives members on Friday 19th February, 2021. According to the statement, the Ward Deputy Chairman Mr. Rotimi Akinyemi would now take over in acting Capacity.

The much talked about Federal Government 774,000 jobs under Extended Special Public Works (ESPW) for unemployed youth and vulnerable people in all the local Government Councils in the country has finally taken off in Kosofe Local Government as National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has started training the shortlisted beneficiaries of the programme at the council’s secretariat. The Kosofe Local Government chapter of the programme was flagged off by the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Hon. As part of efforts to ease the problem of acute water shortage at Ward C (Araromi, Ifako, Soluyi and Gbagada) in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, the councillor representing the Ward, Hon.
